Dani Maresma Art | A GREAT EYE IS LOOKING YOUR SOUL artworks by Dani Maresma
I made this picture from my imagination, I didn’t use any photography or character to create it. What inspired me is our imperfect nature, the imperfection of the emotions, the physical imperfection, the perfect imperfection of the human being. This imperfection is what makes us so perfect, like understanding that the same moment in which I’m writing and you are reading, is perfect because it can’t be changed. A present that we are living together, you and I, even if separated in time and space. We are connected through that moment and this work connects us, this work watches over us with this immense eye.

In my portraits, my references sometimes are photos or my imagination.

I don’t like to make a perfect portrait of the character, I search to capture sensations or emotions that it transmits, which seem more volatile and unimportant, but which are more important for me.
